Small nightmare this one… we were told ‘first three’, then just before going into the pit ‘fist two only, sorry’. Then after the first song where she was pretty much only behind bars in a cage with white light, we were asked to leave already by a rather imposing chap somewhat larger than any of the 9 photogs present… and of course we did! Oh, I forgot to add the photo release too, hence no shot on the blog.
Started on the 5DII with 24-70mm at ISO3200 but quickly switched over to the 1DII with 70-200mm at ISO1600 after it was apparent she was not going to emerge from the cage and approach the front of the stage. Bit of a shame really. Kept shutter speeds high for the zoom to avoid shake (and also because there was a small crowd of us bumping to get a good shot).
