Skunk Anansie @ X-Tra - Zurich

Zurich, 19 November 2009

The X-TRA does not have the most comfortable of photo-pits in Zurich with steps you need to crouch down on, and iron bars preventing you from moving around for different angles. However, Skunk Anansie gave a very energetic and expressionful first 3 songs, even stepping out to the crowd inside the first 10 minutes.
All the shots were on the 5d MkII/24-70mm with ISO 3200. The lighting varied from moderately dark to bright and thus a corresponding range of shutter speed was used. I am still learning the new camera, and so far I am finding the lack of spot metering linked to AF point (the 1d has it) a bit annoying. I’ll get used to it though… Also the AF is a little slower than I have been used to.
