The shot is on the 1D4 with my new Canon 300mm f/2.8L USM; 1/1600s, ISO400 using AI Servo AF and Tv giving f/5.0 on partial metering, with monopod. Focus was centre-point aimed at the bike’s headlight.
I have to say I am VERY pleased with the IQ! Even though this is a scaled image at 72ppi, it looks so sharp. I can’t wait to use this monster of a lens properly…!!!
