“Chuck Prophet is the man”, so I was reliably informed by two good friends, one of whom fixed me up for the gig direclty with the TM. I have to agree with them. It was a great gig in a tiny place, with exceptionally poor lighting; exactly 6 lights that stayed at exactly the same dim level for the whole show…
Given those parameters, I shot at up to ISO6400 at the widest apertures, with slowest speeds, on the 50mm, 24-70mm and the 16-35mm lenses. Still, some of the shots had a great atmosphere and it made a big change from the bigger venues with bright lights. In many ways it was a lot more fun: I spoke to Chuck and the band, I could shoot the whole night, and I could relax and enjoy it… highly recommended!!!
